What is GPA?

GPA stands for Grade Point Average and is a way of measuring a student’s academic performance. It is calculated by taking the average of all the grades a student has earned in their classes and converting them into a numerical value. A higher GPA indicates better academic performance, and is often used by universities and employers to assess a student’s academic ability.

What is GPA Calculator?

A GPA Calculator is a tool used to calculate a student’s grade point average (GPA). It takes into account the grades received in each course and the number of credits associated with each course to calculate the student’s overall GPA.

How to Calculate GPA?

To calculate your GPA, you will need to know the grade you received in each course you have taken and the number of credit hours each course is worth. Once you have this information, you can calculate your GPA by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the total number of credit hours attempted. Grade points are calculated by multiplying the number of credit hours for each course by the numerical grade value assigned to the letter grade you received. For example, if you received an A in a 3-credit hour course, you would have earned 12 grade points (3 credit hours x 4 grade points per credit hour = 12 grade points). Once you have calculated the total number of grade points earned, divide this number by the total number of credit hours attempted. This will give you your GPA.
